WAYNE COUNTY, OH, Mar. 25, 2021 — The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Wayne County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.
State Route 95, between Springville Road and South Jefferson Road, will have single-lane closures for culvert repairs. Traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals. The estimated completion is April 2021. This project involves various culverts throughout ODOT District 3. The estimated completion of the entire project is October 2021.

WAYNE COUNTY, OH, May 11, 2020 — State Route 604, between Irvin Road and Eby Road, will close Monday, May 18 for railroad crossing repairs. The detour route for eastbound motorists is Route 604 to Route 3, north on route 3 to I-76, east on I-76 to Route 57, south on Route 57 to Route 604, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Saturday, May 23, 2020.

WAYNE COUNTY, OH, May 7, 2020 – The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Wayne County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.
State Route 83 resurfacing project – State Route 83, from the Medina County line to the northern corporation limits of the city of Wooster, will close Monday, May 11 for a resurfacing project.
NEW IMPACTS
Phase 1 – between Smithville Western Road and Hutton Road
Phase 2 – between Hutton Road and Pleasant Home Road
Phase 3 – between Pleasant Home Road and state Route 604
Phase 1-3 Detour – The detour route for northbound motorists is state Route 83 to Route 3, north on Route 3 to Route 604, west on Route 604 to Route 83, and reverse for southbound motorists.
Estimated completion for Phase 1-3: Monday, July 13, 2020
More details to follow for Phase 4 of the resurfacing project.
Estimated completion for the entire project: October 2020
U.S. Route 250 bridge replacement – NEW IMPACT – U.S. 250 over Little Apple Creek, between Villard Street and Apple Ridge Drive, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a bridge replacement project. Traffic will be maintained by signalized lane closures. Estimated completion: October 2020
State Route 604 railroad crossing repairs – NEW IMPACT – State Route 604, between Irvin Road and Eby Road, will close Monday, May 18 for railroad crossing repairs. The detour route for eastbound motorists is Route 604 to Route 3, north on route 3 to I-76, east on I-76 to Route 57, south on Route 57 to Route 604, and reverse for westbound motorists. State Route 604 culvert replacement – NEW IMPACT – State Route 604, just east of SR 57, will close Monday, May 18 for a culvert replacement. The detour route for westbound motorists is state Route 604 to Route 57, south on Route 57 to Route 585, north on Route 585 to Route 604, and reverse for eastbound motorists. Estimated completion: Friday, May 22, 2020

WAYNE COUNTY, OH, Apr. 20, 2020 — SR 94, just south of Doylestown Road, will close Monday, April 27 for a culvert replacement.
The detour route for southbound motorists will be SR 94 to Doylestown Road (CR 70), west on Doylestown Road to SR 57, south on SR 57 to SR 585, north on SR 585 to SR 94, and reverse for northbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Friday, May 1, 2020.
