If you do a google search to pay your sewer bill, Doxo is likely to pop up in the search results.  Doxo is a convenience service that allows you to pay multiple vendors, manage documents and connections with providers. Payments are then sent from doxo to the biller by mail via a check. While Doxo itself is a legitimate service, utility companies have reported that they do not receive payments anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks through the doxo service.  This means that utility accounts are subect to delinquency late fees and even shut-offs.
