Scavenger Hunt Announced
WAYNE COUNTY, OH, Mar. 29, 2021 — Join us on Saturday, June 19, 2021, from 10 a.m until noon for a scavenger hunt. This event will utilize the City of Wooster bike paths and will feature 12 stops with stations that participants will either take a picture of an object or answer some Wooster-related trivia questions.
This event is geared towards adults and youth, those younger than 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Participation in the full event could include covering a span of six miles throughout the day. It will be up to each participant and family to decide their level of participation. Guidance will be provided to participants wishing to cover fewer miles while enjoying this event. You may elect to either run, walk or ride a bike (helmets required) for this event. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Soccer Complex (corner of Oldman and Burbank Rd). Register online by noon on June 4, 2021, at woosteroh.com/recreation.
Stations will be located along the existing bike path and may include stops at the following locations:
- Wooster Safety Service Center
- Oak Hill Park
- Kinney/Soccer Complex Trail
- Oaks Church (Old Layton Elementary School)
- Mike Baus DDS
- College of Wooster
Event cost:
- $5.00 – Individual (includes a t-shirt)
- $10.00 – Family (includes a t-shirt to all family members)
