WAYNE COUNTY, OH, Jan. 24, 2022 — The Wayne County Community Corrections Board would like to invite you to join us for the presentation of the Wayne County Community Corrections Strategic Plan community session scheduled as follows:

Masks and sanitizer will be provided to use, as desired. This event is sponsored by the Wayne County Community Corrections Board and is open to all community members. The Strategic Plan identifies long-term strategic goals and objectives designed to improve the Wayne County criminal justice system and create a safer community. Prior to this community session, Leadership Group members and two consultants met monthly for the past year to develop the Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan was presented and approved by the Wayne County Community Correction Board on December 6, 2021.

Help Develop Corrections Plan
WAYNE COUNTY, OH, Sep. 14, 2021 — A public forum will be held on Sept. 21, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Grace Church, 4599 Burbank Road, Wooster, to develop the Wayne County Community Corrections Strategic Plan. The event is sponsored by the Wayne County Community Corrections Board and is open to anyone residing in the county.
The plan will identify near and longer-range goals and objectives designed to improve the criminal justice system and create a safer community for residents. Leadership group members have previously met to determine the parameters of the project. Consultants were employed to interview and survey stakeholders.
The forum will consist of presentations and large and small group discussions. Registration is required by Friday, Sept. 17, 2021. To register, email Capt. Questions may also be directed to Capt. Richards.
Social distancing will be maintained, masks, hand sanitizer, and a continental breakfast will be provided; Deja Food Truck will be on-site, and lunch may be purchased. Community participation is encouraged to help make the event successful.
