New Wayne County Coroner Vehicle

Wayne County has a new County Coroner vehicle aimed at improving service to first responders, law enforcement, and affected families in various situations where death occurs. Wayne County Coroner Amy Jolliff, (third from left,) estimates that the cost of the outfitted vehicle will be covered through avoiding transport fees over a three to five year period.

The previous coroner vehicle was retired after 13 years, according to Coroner Chief Investigator Luke Reynolds (second from right). Also pictured are Wayne County Commissioners (from left) Ron Amstutz, Becky Foster, and (at right) Sue Smail. Commissioners authorized and funded purchase of the vehicle.
