Internet Auction Authorization Notice
Revised Code Section 307.12(E) allows a Board of County Commissioners to sell, by internet auction, personal property that is not needed for public use or is obsolete.
The Wayne County Board of Commissioners hereby expresses its intent to sell property, by internet auction, through GovDeals, Inc. (Res. 2010-87) and, in no case, shall the number of days for bidding be less than 10 days (including Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays). All internet auctions shall be conducted pursuant to the terms and conditions for online sales.
(Notice was printed twice in the Daily Record, with second notice not being more than 20 days after the first notice. Notice shall also be posted in the offices of the Wayne County Auditor and the Wayne County Commissioners, as well as the County web site.)
